Fiji forward Mitchell Prest faces a one-match suspension before the team's final Rugby League World Cup game, against New Zealand.
The MRC charged him with a Grade 1 careless high tackle on Australia forward Lindsay Smith during Sunday night's match in Brisbane.
Prest received a warning for an offence the previous week. Under NRL rules, which apply on and off the field at the tournament, an early guilty plea brings a one-game ban.
If he contests the charge at the judiciary and loses, he risks a two-match suspension.
Prest started both of Fiji's matches. Against the Cook Islands, he ran 64 metres and made 28 tackles in 39 minutes; against Australia, he made 112 metres and 26 tackles in 52 minutes.
Fiji led early in the second half, but Australia came back to win 36-22.
No other players were reported or charged from that match. New Zealand's 66-point win over the Cook Islands also produced no reports or charges.
