Fiji World Cup side missing stars

Four Tigers named in Fiji World Cup squad

Fiji meet the Cook Islands, Australia and New Zealand on October 18, 25 and 31, respectively, in Newcastle, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Fiji will miss Jahream Bula and Viliame Kikau at the 2026 Rugby League World Cup; eligibility concerns ruled out Latu, Sione and Samuela Fainu.

Captain Apisai Koroisau leads Fiji in Group A.

The squad includes Bayleigh Bentley-Hape, Waqa Blake, Kurt Donoghoe, Apenisa Driti, Kitione Kautoga, Elijah Keung, Apisai Koroisau and Josese Lanyon.

Jordan Leiu, Joseph Litidamu, Kylan Mafoa, Taane Milne, Caleb Navale, Jimmy Ngutlik and Ronaldo Philitoga are also selected.

Mitchell Prest, Emosi Ravosai, Jacob Saifiti, Solomone Saukuru, Sunia Turuva, Semi Valemei, Brandon Wakeham and Jordan Miller complete the squad.

Bula's Wests Tigers teammate Turuva is expected at fullback, with Ngutlik or Litidamu possible cover; Fiji will hope he stays fit.

Bentley-Hape and Valemei are expected on the wings; Blake, after a Super League season with Bradford Bulls, will play elsewhere.
