Fifita: Titans' loss, Sydney's potential gain

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

Gold Coast Titans forward David Fifita has recently attracted interest from a Sydney club after being dropped to reserve grade.

According to reports from zerotackle.com, Fifita, one of the highest-paid players in the NRL with an annual salary of around $1 million, has struggled to replicate his previous form since leaving the Brisbane Broncos.

This decline has contributed to the Titans' inability to reach the NRL Finals.

Fifita's current difficulties with the Titans have led to his demotion to the Queensland Cup, yet he remains a sought-after player.

Just under a year ago, he made headlines by backflipping on a four-year deal valued at $850,000 to join the Sydney Roosters.

Now, the Wests Tigers are showing interest as a potential new home for the talented but currently underperforming forward.
