In a display of pure power and determination, Fetu Samoa sealed their spot in next year's Pacific Cup alongside the Jillaroos and Kiwi Ferns with a commanding 34-12 victory over the PNG Orchids at CommBank Stadium on Sunday.

Led by the inspirational skipper Annetta-Claudia Nu'uausala, Fetu Samoa asserted their dominance with a flawless three from three performance in the tournament, securing a berth at the 2026 World Cup and earning promotion to the Pacific Championships.

The action kicked off in the sixth minute when Sienna Lofipo made a lightning-fast break from dummy half, paving the way for 18-year-old sensation Mercedez Taulelei-Siala to touch down in the corner.

The momentum continued in the 19th minute as a powerhouse run from Evah McEwen set the stage for Pauline Piliae-Rasabale to orchestrate a slick move that culminated in Taulelei-Siala feeding Jasmine Fogavini for Samoa's second try.

Despite a close call that saw Piliae-Rasabale losing control of the ball just shy of the try line, Samoa maintained their 10-0 lead heading into halftime.

With the Orchids looking to make a comeback before the break, Samoa's defense rose to the occasion, shutting down every opportunity and turning defense into attack as fullback Jetaya Faifua broke free for a sensational 60-meter solo try.

Piliae-Rasabale's successful conversion extended Samoa's lead to 16-0 at halftime.

In a show of strength and skill, Fetu Samoa's performance was a testament to their unwavering determination and dedication to the game.

With their eyes set on future glory, the road to success for Samoa is paved with hard work and passion for the sport.
