Blake Ferguson, a former star in both the NRL and the Super League, is set to continue his rugby league journey in 2026, demonstrating his enduring competitiveness on the field.

Love Rugby League has confirmed that the premiership winner will join the Group 10 team, Orange CYMS, following an impressive season with the Wellington Cowboys.

Ferguson has made a significant impact in his post-NRL career, emerging as a standout player in the Peter McDonald Premiership.

In 2025, the former Kangaroos and NSW Blues winger ranked as the second-highest point scorer in the competition, accumulating 182 points, just behind Forbes Magpies' Nicholas Greenalgh.

A reliable try-scorer at every stage of his career, Ferguson scored 13 tries this season as the Cowboys advanced to the semi-finals, where they were ultimately defeated by Mudgee.

Approaching his 36th birthday this March, Ferguson remains one of the most seasoned outside backs in rugby league.

His professional career kicked off with the Cronulla Sharks in 2009, and he later found success with the Canberra Raiders, Sydney Roosters, and Parramatta Eels, as well as the Leigh Leopards in the UK.
