Currently in his second pre-season with the NRL squad, young South Sydney Rabbitohs forward Nazareth Taua aims to emulate icons and legends by donning the esteemed Cardinal and Myrtle colors.

Since the age of three, the 20-year-old has aspired to play in the NRL and is keen to make a significant impact with the Bunnies as he approaches the final year of his current contract with the club.

Launching the 2025 season in the NSW Cup, the versatile forward established himself as a key player in the club's Jersey Flegg Cup forward pack, showcasing decisive and strong performances throughout the season.

However, he must elevate his game even further in the coming season if he hopes to secure his debut or receive a contract extension.

"They put a lot of faith in me, and I just try to pay it back by playing hard out there on the field.

"It would mean so much to me (to play in the NRL) and it would mean so much to represent my last name."
