Ezra Mam to play Queensland Cup on return from nine-match drug-driving suspension

Ezra Mam, the star number six, will make his rugby league return with Souths-Logan in the Queensland Cup after serving a nine-match suspension for drug-driving.

According to abc.net.au, he will not play against South Sydney in the NRL but will headline the match at Davies Park against the Western Clydesdales on Sunday.

Mam's suspension, imposed by the NRL for driving under the influence of drugs and without a license, has now ended, making him available to play for the Broncos.

Broncos skipper Adam Reynolds emphasized the importance of easing Mam back into the game.

He stated, "Any player who has spent a long time out of the game, they want to get their timing back and go through the simple things and make sure they do that right.

It would be wrong of us to just stick him out there and think he can do the job straight away.

The NRL is pretty tough and it's demanding."
