England's hopes of winning the three-Test series against Tonga have been dealt a blow with the news that Dom Young and Morgan Knowles will miss the final two matches.
Young, who plays for Sydney Roosters, is currently in hospital after having an abscess drained.
Meanwhile, Knowles, who represents St Helens, sustained a thumb injury.
Despite the setbacks, head coach Shaun Wane remains confident in the squad he has selected.
The remaining games will take place in Huddersfield on Saturday and Leeds on 4 November, with England fielding a 22-man squad.
