In a potential bombshell move, the Parramatta Eels are reportedly planning to make a bid for Bulldogs winger Josh Addo-Carr.

The Eels had been relatively quiet on the signing front for the upcoming season, but it seems they have set their sights on the speedster.

Addo-Carr has had a difficult off-season, being knocked out at the Koori Knockout and subsequently banned for two matches.

He was also stood down from Australian duty.

The controversy continued when he made a controversial social media post comparing the Israel conflict to Indigenous land rights.

However, despite the off-field issues, Addo-Carr still managed to score an impressive 11 tries in just 15 matches for the struggling Bulldogs.

It has been reported that he has had disagreements with club officials at Canterbury, leaving the door open for a potential move.

While he has met with the Bulldogs' head of football, Phil Gould, who confirmed his future at the club, the Eels are seemingly still keen on making a play for the star winger.
