Josh Addo-Carr, having recently earned his spot back on the Australian international team, is reportedly in contract discussions with the Parramatta Eels to extend his stay with the club.

Since joining the Eels at the beginning of the year after his tenure with the Canterbury Bulldogs, Addo-Carr has successfully rediscovered the form that made him a standout player known for his incredible performances in the back-line.

Following his selection as one of two substitutes to represent Australia against England in the upcoming 2025 Ashes Series, replacing injured players Xavier Coates and Zac Lomax, Addo-Carr is now focused on securing his future in the league.

As reported by The Daily Telegraph, negotiations have commenced between Addo-Carr and his management with the Eels about a new contract, as he is set to enter the open market on November 1.

Addo-Carr expressed his desire to stay with the Eels beyond his current contract, which is set to expire at the end of 2026, and aspires to conclude his career with the club after previously playing for the Bulldogs, Melbourne Storm, and Wests Tigers.

"Personally, I want to sign another few deals and finish my career at Parra," Addo-Carr shared with News Corp.

"The coaching staff and the boys here, even the administration, they are all good people to be around and it's so enjoyable.
