In a recent clash on the Rugby League field, Parramatta Eels' Wiremu Greig and New Zealand Warriors' Chanel Harris-Tavita have found themselves in hot water with the Match Review Committee.

Greig, known for his hard hits and tough demeanor on the field, was sin-binned for a high tackle on Connor Watson.

This ruling not only sidelined the utility player for the remainder of the game but also puts Greig at risk of a two-week suspension for a Grade 3 Careless High Tackle.

However, if he decides to fight the charge and is unsuccessful, the suspension could extend to three matches.

Meanwhile, his teammate Clinton Gutherson faces a mere fine of $750-1000 for Dangerous Contact on James Tedesco.

Harris-Tavita, the stoic playmaker for the New Zealand Warriors, is also facing a potential two-week suspension for a Grade 1 Crusher Tackle on Nathan Brown.

However, he has the option to accept an early guilty plea and only receive a $3000 fine.

Other notable charges from the recent matches include Reuben Garrick of the Manly Sea Eagles with a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge and Victor Radley of the Sydney Roosters also facing a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge.

In the rough and tumble world of Rugby League, these suspensions and fines serve as a reminder of the importance of playing a tough but fair game on the field.
