A player from the Manly Sea Eagles is poised for an immediate transfer to a competing NRL team ahead of the June 30 deadline.
Reports from zerotackle.com indicate that the Sea Eagles are preparing for life without veteran star Daly Cherry-Evans and have been actively reshaping their roster.
This includes the upcoming arrival of Jamal Fogarty from the Canberra Raiders for the next season.
In addition, veteran forward Jazz Tevaga is also slated to leave at the end of 2026, and now another player is expected to follow suit.
According to The Sydney Morning Herald, Jake Arthur is likely to make an immediate move to the Newcastle Knights before the transfer window closes.
Although Arthur is currently under contract with the Sea Eagles until the end of this season, the club reportedly will not obstruct his departure.
