The Manly Sea Eagles are on the brink of securing the future of head coach Anthony Seibold after a successful campaign in the 2024 NRL Finals.
Seibold, who arrived at the Northern Beaches in 2023 following the departure of club legend Des Hasler, has been instrumental in the team's recent success after a challenging stint at the Brisbane Broncos.
With his contract set to expire in 12 months, negotiations between the club and Seibold began in April and it appears that a deal has been reached for the coach to remain at the helm.
According to reports from News Corp, the Sea Eagles are close to announcing a two-year contract extension for Seibold, keeping him in charge until the end of the 2027 NRL season.
Although the club has yet to confirm the news, CEO Tony Mestov reportedly informed Seibold of the decision on Thursday evening, with an official announcement expected before the Christmas break on December 20.
The Sea Eagles are poised to show their faith in Seibold's leadership as they continue to strive for success on the field.
