Dragons Sign Young Star Nicholas Quinn

The South Sydney Rabbitohs have lost one of their promising young talents, Nicholas Quinn, due to a congested position in the halves, allowing a competing team to secure his services.

Last week, it was reported that the Brisbane Tigers, St George Illawarra Dragons, and the Rabbitohs were all pursuing his signature, leading Quinn to make a pivotal career decision.

Having previously played for the Dragons before joining the Rabbitohs, Quinn has attracted significant interest following an impressive season with the Rabbitohs, prompting Shane Flanagan to persuade him to return to his roots.

Despite the Rabbitohs' intentions to retain him, the dynamic five-eighth found himself behind several established halves at the club, including Cody Walker, Jamie Humphreys, Jayden Sullivan, Ashton Ward, and Jonah Glover.

Quinn will rejoin the Dragons for the 2026 season, where he has the opportunity to establish himself as a long-term option in the halves, especially given the club's current shortage of elite talent in that position.

An official announcement from the Dragons is expected soon.
