Catalans Dragons' victory over Wakefield Trinity has kept their hopes alive for the League Leaders' Shield, while leaving Wakefield Trinity closer to relegation.

Tom Johnstone, who used to play for Wakefield Trinity, scored his sixth try against his old club in 2023, giving the Dragons the lead.

Adam Keighran also contributed to the Dragons' success by scoring off a switch play.

In a tense game with difficult playing conditions, Tom Davies managed to dive in at the corner, giving Catalans a comfortable lead.

Although Kelepi Tanginoa and Lee Kershaw scored late tries for Trinity, it was not enough to secure a win.

With this victory, Catalans Dragons have demonstrated their determination to compete for the League Leaders' Shield.
