Dragons Forge Community Partnership with Council

The St George Illawarra Dragons have unveiled a new partnership with the Georges River Council.

This collaboration grants them the naming rights for their venue in Kogarah, now officially designated as St George Venues Jubilee Stadium, emphasizing their St George heritage.

The agreement is set to last three years, underlining the club's commitment to strengthening community connections in southern Sydney.

Craig Epton, the chief executive of St George Venues, expressed enthusiasm about formalizing this partnership to enhance community ties.

"St George Venues has proudly served the local community for decades, and this partnership with Georges River Council is a natural extension of the commitment to supporting the things that matter most to the residents in the St George district."

"Sport has always played an important role in bringing people together and Jubilee Stadium is a place where generations of fans have created lasting memories. We are incredibly proud to see the St George Venues name associated with such an important community landmark."

"Becoming the naming rights partner of Jubilee Stadium is another example of the organisation investing in important infrastructure that the community relies on and loves."

As an umbrella company for local clubs, St George Venues is dedicated to fostering opportunities within the St George sports community. Over the past year, they have invested $1.7 million in local grassroots facilities.

This Saturday evening, the Dragons will host the Cowboys at their newly named stadium.
