A Lachlan Ilias field goal proved the difference as the Dragons marched to a phenomenal 31-30 win over Penrith at St. Mary's on Saturday.

In the following play, Jesse McLean was put on report for a high shot after Jarrah Treweek advanced the ball off the ensuing kickoff. A crucial effort by Cody Ramsey prevented a Panthers try shortly thereafter, and he then displayed creativity to force a dropout at the opposite end.
However, Penrith managed to extend their lead before halftime, with Daine Laurie gathering a short Dragons dropout and sprinting through to score, bringing the score to 18-6.
