The Dragons have bid farewell to nine players following their final showdown of the 2024 NRL season against the Canberra Raiders.

While Jack Bird, Savelio Tamale, and Zac Lomax were already set to depart, the Dragons have now revealed that six more players will be joining them in new endeavors.

The list of departing players includes Alec Tuitavake, Dan Russell, Fa'amanu Brown, Jackson Shereb, Jesse Marschke, and Max Feagai.

Brown and Marschke's exits come as a surprise, particularly with Brown joining mid-season after a stint in the Super League and showcasing his skills in six NRL matches.

Brown, who has previously played for the Cronulla Sharks, Canterbury Bulldogs, Wests Tigers, and Newcastle Knights, leaves behind a legacy of determination and grit on the field.

The Dragons will undoubtedly feel the void left by these departing players, but as is the nature of rugby league, new talent and opportunities are always on the horizon.
