Adam Doueihi has made a decision about his future with the Wests Tigers.
The Daily Telegraph reported that Doueihi no longer wishes to remain with the club and is not interested in playing under coach Benji Marshall.
This announcement follows a series of events leading up to the game against the Raiders on Saturday afternoon.
The halfback was scheduled to contest his charge from the Match Review Committee on Tuesday night, successfully avoiding any punishment.
However, hours before the hearing on Tuesday, the team lineup was disclosed, revealing that Doueihi was initially listed in the reserves wearing jersey number 22.
Marshall chose to elevate Javon Andrews into the first-grade squad to make his NRL debut as the starting halfback.
Instead of playing in his usual position, Marshall intended to use the Lebanon representative in a lock forward role.
Doueihi shared his frustrations with Benji Marshall and the club, leading to his decision to withdraw from the match against the Canberra Raiders.
As it stands, Doueihi is under contract with the club until the end of the 2029 season after signing an extension just last year.
