Discontented with recent developments, Adam Doueihi is set to return to training with the Wests Tigers on Tuesday.
On Monday morning, Doueihi, along with his manager Isaac Moses, engaged in talks with coach Benji Marshall, chief executive Shaun Mielekamp, and football manager Pat Richards at the club's Concord facilities to resolve their issues.
Mielekamp came out of the discussions stating that they were "positive," alleviating concerns that Doueihi might have played his final game for the Tigers.
Despite being under contract until the end of the 2029 NRL season, Doueihi reportedly had a disagreement with Marshall after opting out of Saturday's significant 56-10 defeat to Canberra.
The halfback was reportedly displeased about switching positions to accommodate rookie Javon Andrews.
However, following the productive meeting, the 27-year-old may even make a swift return for the Sunday match against Parramatta.
"It was a very positive and productive meeting," Mielekamp stated in a brief prepared release.
"Adam will be at training tomorrow, which is a very good sign."
