Selwyn Cobbo has won Queensland's Ron McAuliffe Medal after a decisive return to the Maroons during the 2026 State of Origin series.
The Dolphins winger played every match, starting on the wing each time and earning the honour from Queensland's coaching staff.
After missing selection in 2025, Cobbo returned for his first full three-game campaign since 2022.
He delivered his biggest performance in Game 2, scoring three tries as Queensland levelled the series.
Across Origin, the 24-year-old scored four tries, supplied one assist, made four line breaks and ran for 552 metres.
The award followed an impressive first Dolphins season, which began under a one-year contract before he secured an extension for 2027.
He has now signed for four further years, with the club acting before November 1, when rival clubs could negotiate with him.
Cobbo next turns to Friday's preliminary final against the Sydney Roosters, hoping to transfer his Queensland form into a grand-final push.
