The Women in League Round for 2025 commenced with a match between the Parramatta Eels and the Dolphins, which was a crucial game for both teams.

The Dolphins, coached by Kristian Woolf, secured the victory in a tightly contested match.

According to nrl.com.au, the Eels have shown significant improvement since the return of their key playmaker Mitch Moses in Round 7.

However, they still find themselves at the bottom of the ladder with a disappointing 2-7 record, reflecting on several missed opportunities.

In 2024, the Dolphins struggled with only two wins out of eight games outside Queensland, and they were winless in three attempts this season away from the Sunshine State.

Nevertheless, they managed to rally back from a 12-6 deficit with 20 minutes left to clinch the win at CommBank Stadium.

The Dolphins will return to Suncorp Stadium in Round 11 to face the Warriors.

Meanwhile, the Eels need to regroup ahead of their upcoming match against the Knights in Newcastle.
