Dolphins second-rower, Connelly Lemuelu, has made a triumphant return to training after a long absence due to a knee injury.
The injury was sustained during the Pacific Championships last year, where Lemuelu was proudly representing Samoa against powerhouse Australia.
His MCL and PCL were the unfortunate victims of the match, but the determined forward is now focused on making a grand entrance for The Dolphins' season opener against their arch-rivals, the North Queensland Cowboys.
Although Lemuelu hasn't completely ruled out participating in the Pre-Season Challenge next month, his availability remains uncertain.
Expressing his cautious approach, he stated, "I am just sort of easing into it this week and next week hopefully get into full training." The Dolphins must be thrilled to have their talented forward back in action, ready to tackle the challenges of the upcoming rugby league season.
