Dolphins and Dragons join Cowboys in speedy pursuit

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

In what is shaping up to be a thrilling three-club race, the St George Illawarra Dragons and Dolphins are hot on the trail of young gun Kulikefu Finefeuiaki.

At just 19 years old, Finefeuiaki has already made a name for himself as one of the brightest talents in the game.

Having debuted for the Cowboys midway through the 2023 season, he wasted no time in making an impact, featuring in 12 games for the club.

With a skillset that belies his age, Finefeuiaki quickly became an integral part of Todd Payten's side.

However, his future at the Cowboys is far from certain, as competition for spots in the 17 each week is fierce.

Finefeuiaki will be jostling for a place alongside the likes of Luciano Leilua, Heilum Luki, and Jeremiah Nanai, all seeking to secure a coveted spot on the team sheet.

As the race heats up, expect these young talents to leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of NRL glory.
