The Canberra Raiders faced a tough defeat against the Canterbury Bulldogs at GIO Stadium, losing 32-20.

Jamal Fogarty's conversion put the Raiders ahead 6-nil.

The Raiders' defense shone initially, effectively stymying the Bulldogs' attempts to score.

Seizing a penalty opportunity, Kaeo Weekes utilized his speed to break through and score, extending the lead.

The Raiders continued to dominate, exploiting the Bulldogs' left edge.

On a critical last play, they moved the ball to Matt Timoko, who quickly found Xavier Savage, allowing Savage to notch a try in the corner and push the score to 16-0.

As the first half progressed, the Raiders capitalized on another penalty.

Fogarty again played a crucial role, passing to a bold Hudson Young, who outmaneuvered the fullback to score the Raiders' fourth try.

Heading into halftime, the Raiders led convincingly at 20-nil.
