In a display of leadership reminiscent of rugby league legends of yesteryear, Tom Dellow, the formidable lock who guided the Harold Matthews Cup team to the brink of glory, was crowned the Sharks' Junior Representative Player of the Year at an electrifying presentation night.

Dellow's dominance on the field was recognized with a trio of awards - Players' Player, Player of the Year, and Coaches Award - cementing his status as a rising star in the rugby league firmament.

In a display of sheer determination that would make even the most seasoned veterans proud, prop Jai Davies shone brightly as the Player of the Year for the under-19 SG Ball team, while winger Pharrell Gray and second-rower Max McCarthy showcased their skills to earn the Coaches Award and Players' Player gong, respectively.

The Sharks' den at Kareela played host to an evening of celebration and camaraderie, as the tireless efforts of the junior boys squads and staff were lauded.

A separate presentation for the girls the following evening further underscored the depth of talent and dedication within the Sharks' junior ranks.

Hailing from the formidable Como-Jannali Crocodiles club, Dellow's journey to glory began last year with a standout performance in the Matthews Cup, followed by a prestigious selection in the City under-16 side.

His rise to prominence alongside NRL stalwarts Blayke Brailey, Sam Stonestreet, and Teig Wilton serves as a testament to the unwavering commitment and passion that defines the Sharks' junior program.
