The NRL found itself in the eye of the storm during a fiery debate sparked by Latrell Mitchell's colorful interview.
Tensions reached boiling point as journalists and Rugby League legends clashed over Mitchell's choice of words.
The NRL 360 panel almost turned into a battleground as the discussion heated up over the South Sydney Rabbitohs star's controversial language.
Some might say it was a real knock-down, drag-out affair.
Despite the flare-up, both the NRL and South Sydney have decided not to take any action, much to the chagrin of some NRL commentators.
The decision not to issue a breach of contract notice didn't sit well with everyone, especially with host Braith Anasta and The Australian journalist Brent Read butting heads over the issue.
"If it was another player in the game, like Luai, would the NRL be throwing the book at him or would they be turning a blind eye?" Anasta questioned, adding fuel to the fiery debate.
