Seven Cronulla players will leave after the season, but coach Craig Fitzgibbon says the club will not require a rebuild.
Among the departures are Cameron McInnes, Siosifa Talakai, Sione Katoa and Jesse Ramien, all regulars during Fitzgibbon's tenure.
McInnes is moving to York, Talakai to Perth, while Katoa and Ramien will join North Queensland.
"We've been up for five years now with the same group of guys, and a portion of those are leaving, and we'll be forever grateful for their service," Fitzgibbon said.
"It won't be hard to replace them. Everyone thinks we'll need a reset, rebuild but no, we'll just keep going."
Fitzgibbon has guided Cronulla into the finals every season since taking charge in 2022, although they have not reached a grand final.
The Sharks' latest campaign ended with a 46-10 semi-final loss to the Sydney Roosters after Nicho Hynes failed his head injury assessment.
His concussion came early, when he made head contact with Salesi Foketi, leaving Cronulla without their halfback for most of the match.
The result gave Cronulla a 4-7 finals record under Fitzgibbon, with Hynes again likely to face criticism for the team's September disappointment.
"There's only been two teams that have won the comp in the last five years," Fitzgibbon said.
"We're not that far off, but we haven't got there."
"We've got some guys ready to go, we won't be going anywhere."
