Sydney Roosters star Angus Crichton has recently revealed his openness to a potential switch to rugby union. This announcement comes as speculation about the second-rower's transition to the 15-man code has grown in recent times.

Currently off-contract until the end of 2026, Crichton reaffirmed his commitment to the Roosters for the near future. However, he acknowledged that his plans following next year may differ, indicating a willingness to explore new opportunities.

In an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald, Crichton noted that while he hasn't played rugby union in a decade, he is curious about how his skills would translate to the sport. He stated, "I haven't played the sport in 10 years, so I'd be interested to see where I stack up."

He added, "It would be a different path, something that I'm open to. But I'm just focused on trying to win games for the Roosters here."

The former Rabbitoh, who is set to reach the milestone of 200 NRL games next year, boasts an impressive career with 17 Origins for New South Wales and 8 Tests for Australia. However, despite his extensive experience in league, he has yet to play rugby union at a senior level.
