Cowboys saddling up for two-week away adventure

LeagueNews.co | Jess Malloy

The North Queensland Cowboys have revealed their plan for a two-week road trip, which will see them play back-to-back away games without returning to Townsville in between.

The team will first face the Penrith Panthers in Sydney, followed by a match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs in Perth.

Head coach Todd Payten emphasized the significance of these games, stating, "It's an important match this week." The team will remain in Sydney before traveling to Perth on Tuesday for the second game of the road trip.

During their time away from home, the Cowboys will have a couple of days off along with plenty of training sessions to prepare for the upcoming challenges.

This strategic decision reflects the team's commitment to maximizing their performance and focusing on securing victories in the upcoming matches.
