The Salford Council has rejected the club's attempts to purchase the stadium, as reported by BBC.
The council reiterated its commitment to collaborating with the stadium's tenants to ensure the venue "delivers" benefits for the entire city.
Additionally, the council aims to secure a "stable and sustainable" home for the Devils.
In response to the council's decision, Salford announced plans to assess "all available options" while continuing their efforts to "stabilise" the club for the benefit of the community.
