Yet another NRL club has thrown their hat into the ring, expressing interest in the disgruntled Canberra Raiders forward, Corey Horsburgh.
The Queensland Maroons representative from last year has been making waves recently, with reports surfacing that he has requested a contract release from the Raiders, despite being tied down until the end of 2027.
Having only managed to lace up his boots for two NRL matches this season, Horsburgh has had a rough go of it in 2024.
Injuries, suspension for a scrap in a NSW Cup game, and struggling to secure a spot in the top squad have all contributed to his desire for a change of scenery.
Looking for a fresh start outside of the Raiders camp, the Wests Tigers have emerged as a potential suitor for Horsburgh.
The club has shown keen interest in bringing the fiery forward on board, as reported by The Daily Telegraph.
"I've had a chat with Don Furner (Raiders CEO) and he's been great.
We're both scratching the heads at how things have gone south so quickly in the last year," revealed Horsburgh's agent, Jeff Jurotte, to the publication.
It seems like the race for Horsburgh's signature is heating up, with the Tigers aiming to add some much-needed grunt to their forward pack.
