Competition Grows for Rabbitohs Young Star

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are bracing for intense competition to retain one of their most promising young talents.

Three clubs are now poised to compete for the dynamic five-eighth Nicholas Quinn, as he garners significant interest while teams search for lasting options in their halves lineup.

Having led the Rabbitohs' Jersey Flegg team and made his NSW Cup debut in 2025, Quinn is proving to be a standout player and a genuine NRL running five-eighth.

Despite a crowded field in the Rabbitohs' playmaking department, which includes Cody Walker, Jamie Humphries, Jayden Sullivan, Ashton Ward, and Jonah Glover, the club is eager to keep him.

Quinn's previous club, the St George Illawarra Dragons, is also interested in bringing him back to where his career began.

With uncertainties surrounding their long-term halves solution, the Dragons could offer Quinn a pivotal role should he consider returning.

Additionally, the Brisbane Tigers have presented a final offer, bolstering their squad as they recently formed an affiliation with the Perth Bears as their feeder team.
