Selwyn Cobbo, currently playing for the Brisbane Broncos, has hinted that a return to Brisbane could be in his future.
His time under coach Michael Maguire has been challenging, as he's struggled to secure a consistent place in the lineup.
Recently, Cobbo was reinstated on the wing during a significant victory against the South Sydney Rabbitohs after both Jesse Arthars and Josiah Karapani were dropped due to a disappointing loss to the Parramatta Eels.
Despite his current situation, Cobbo has already committed to joining the Dolphins in 2026 on a one-year deal.
At the Dolphins, he will face stiff competition for a first-grade position, as the established back five features strong players like Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow, Jamayne Isaako, Jack Bostock, Jake Averillo, and Herbie Farnworth.
Displacing any of them will require substantial improvements during the pre-season.
