Samoa's head coach, Ben Gardiner, has come to the defense of Jarome Luai amid rumors that he is quietly working to recruit players for a move to Port Moresby.
Luai is set to join the Parramatta Eels, after which he will take on a significant role as the inaugural player for the PNG Chiefs' franchise in 2028.
Despite facing criticism regarding his recruiting activities ahead of his relocation from Australia, the international coach has swiftly addressed these concerns.
