A young front-rower from the Sydney Roosters has piqued the interest of at least one club after reportedly being made available to several teams outside of Bondi.

As the Roosters prepare to welcome new players for the upcoming season-most notably Daly Cherry-Evans and Reece Robson-others may be leaving due to ongoing issues surrounding the club's salary cap.

Despite being contracted for at least another year, a young front-rower is already linked with a possible exit from the Roosters as multiple players engage in discussions with rival teams. Reports have surfaced indicating that Xavier Va'a, who is reportedly being pushed out due to the club's constraints, has been offered to several Super League teams as the new season approaches.

Previously considered a potential transfer to the Gold Coast Titans, it has now been reported by Love Rugby League that Wakefield Trinity has emerged as a new contender for Va'a's services.

A former Under-19s Queensland captain, the 21-year-old made his debut in Round 12 this past season against the Cronulla Sharks. His time prior to that was spent in the NSW Cup, where he faced challenges, limiting him to just 44 appearances over four years due to injury and other factors.

As the older brother of De La Salle Va'a, he stands as a significant presence on the field and aims to revitalize his career after once being recognized as one of the most promising middle forwards during his tenure at the Brisbane Broncos Academy.
