The Sydney Roosters NSW Cup team had a bye this weekend and will next face the 9th placed Western Suburbs Magpies at Lidcombe Oval on Saturday, 28th June.
In contrast, the Sydney Roosters Jersey Flegg Cup team achieved a significant milestone with their second consecutive win, defeating the Kaiviti Silktails 28-22 in Fiji.
The Roosters took an early lead, scoring a try within the first three minutes and maintaining their advantage throughout the match.
They led 16-10 at halftime and ultimately scored five tries, compared to the Silktails' four.
Notably, left winger Kade Maguire, the competition's leading try scorer, excelled by scoring three tries, bringing his season total to 17 tries in 15 games.
