Sea Eagles soar to victory in historic night for DCE

Manly skipper Daly Cherry-Evans and his loyal Sea Eagles have orchestrated a night to remember at 4 Pines Park tonight.

In a true nod to the annals of history, Cherry-Evans surpassed the legendary Cliff Lyons' record of 310 games for Manly in a thrilling 32-18 win over the reigning champions, Penrith.

Adding to the milestone celebrations, Corey Waddell marked his 100th NRL appearance, a testament to his dedication since his debut with the Sea Eagles back in 2019.

The Sea Eagles turned the tide on a two-game losing streak in front of a packed house of 17,381 passionate fans.

Cherry-Evans reflected on his team's resilience and unity that propelled them to victory following a couple of disappointing weeks on the field.
