The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are over the moon to announce that 17 players from their Academy pathways have been chosen to represent the NSWRL Country and City Representative Teams.
These talented individuals have been in top form, with the Lisa Fiaola and SG Ball teams recently competing in their grand finals, and the Harold Matthews and Tarsha Gale teams playing in their semi-finals.
The Bulldogs Academy has been a breeding ground for talent, with the Lisa Fiaola Cup squad taking home the Premiership in 2024.
This success highlights the strength of the Club's development program and the promising future of the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
Out of the 17 players selected, 11 are women who have excelled in the Club's women's program.
The Bulldogs are paving the way for female athletes, with plans to enter the NRLW competition in 2025.
In addition to the female selections, six male players from the Club's pathways and satellite programs have also been chosen to represent NSW.
The Country v City competition will see nine games played over two days at Leichhardt Oval and the Whitlam Leisure Centre.
Fans can catch all the action on NSWRL TV as the players battle it out on the field.
It's clear that the Bulldogs are grooming the next generation of rugby league stars, with a focus on building strong pathways and fostering talent within the Club.
With these 17 players in the mix, the future looks bright for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
