In a real ripper of a Rugby League news piece, it's been revealed that four Canberra Raiders players could be donning the green and gold for the Prime Minister's XIII team.

With the big showdown against Papua New Guinea looming on October 13, Brad Fittler faces a bloody tough decision on who to pick for this annual rugby league event.

Apparently, the team won't feature any players who are gunning for the NRL Grand Final in 2024 or those picked by Mal Meninga for the Australian Kangaroos at the 2024 Pacific Championships.

Last year's squad boasted big names like Zac Lomax, Alofiana Khan-Pereira, Daly Cherry-Evans, Ben Hunt, Cameron Murray, and Reuben Cotter, who put on a real clinic.

The former NSW Blues coach has spilled the beans to The Canberra Times that Ethan Strange, Hudson Young, Jamal Fogarty, and Xavier Savage are all in the mix for selection.

It's game on for these Raiders quartet as they vie for a spot in this prestigious team.
