In their first ever NRLW game, the Raiders secured a surprising 24-14 victory over the Sydney Roosters, much to the delight of their home crowd.
Co-captain Simaima Taufa was the standout player, racking up an impressive 42 tackles and also scoring a try.
Fellow forward Grace Kemp and centre Cheyelle Robins-Reti also scored their first NRLW tries in the match.
The upcoming game will see Canberra take on the Tigers, who have been in fine form this season, winning both of their matches so far.
Their most recent victory was a dominant 10-0 win over the Cronulla Sharks in the last round.
