In a thrilling match, the Brisbane Tigers, the Melbourne Storm's feeder club, staged a remarkable comeback to defeat the PNG Hunters with a final score of 32-18.

Initially trailing 12-0, the Tigers fought back valiantly, led by the impressive performance of Cole Geyer, who entered the game in the 30th minute and later received the coveted Man of the Match award.

The Tigers managed to narrow the gap before halftime with tries from Geyer and George Jennings, both members of the Storm squad.

In the second half, the Tigers tightened their defense, allowing the Hunters to score only one try.

This victory has brought the Tigers level on points with the fourth-placed Redcliffe Dolphins, making the remaining three rounds of the season crucial for both teams.

In a separate match, the Sunshine Coast Falcons, another feeder club for the Melbourne Storm, suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Wynumm Manly Seagulls, with the final score being 30-28.

The match was closely contested, with both teams exchanging tries throughout.

However, it was a penalty goal by Josh Rogers in the dying moments of the game that ultimately sealed the Falcons' fate.
