The South Sydney Rabbitohs have signed Fijian international winger Mikaele Ravalawa for the rest of the 2025 NRL season.
Ravalawa, who previously played for the St George Illawarra Dragons, will return to his former team in 2026 after his stint with the Rabbitohs.
The move comes after Ravalawa was linked with a potential transfer to the Canterbury Bulldogs or a move to the Super League.
With 98 first-grade matches for the Dragons under his belt and five international appearances for Fiji, Ravalawa brings a wealth of experience to the Rabbitohs.
The Rabbitohs' Head of Recruitment, Mark Ellison, praised Ravalawa's skills, stating, "Mikaele is a powerful, big body with a lot of NRL experience and noted try scoring ability, and he will add depth to the outside back stocks." Ellison also highlighted Ravalawa's aggressive running style, noting that he adds a point of difference to the team's flanks.
