Bulldogs Reunite with Former Star Player

The recruitment efforts of the Canterbury Bulldogs in recent years have been remarkable, showcasing a stark improvement over the less favorable signings of their previous struggles.

Amidst this positive change, it appears the Bulldogs are on the verge of bringing back one of their former stars, who is eager to make a return to the NRL.

Corey Harawira-Naera, who has not played since 2023 due to an on-field seizure, is anxious to get back into first-grade football.

Although he initially aimed to return with the Canberra Raiders, his current club has reportedly decided against risking his health.

This has led Harawira-Naera to explore opportunities with other teams, paving the way for a potential reunion with Canterbury, as stated in the Daily Telegraph.

The 30-year-old is anticipated to join the Bulldogs on a one-year, train-and-trial arrangement.
