The Canterbury Bulldogs are making strides in the competitive landscape of the NRL, particularly as they gear up for the 2025 finals. However, one of their promising outside back prospects, Aisake Manna, has opted to exit the club for a new chapter.
Manna, a talented winger and member of the Under-19s SG Ball Cup team, will be joining French rugby union club Stade Français on a four-year deal. This transition will see him competing in the Top 14, one of Europe's premier rugby union leagues, known for its high caliber of play since its inception in 1892.
Hailing from Nakorosule, Naitasiri in Fiji, Manna previously spent time with the North Queensland Cowboys before his time at the Bulldogs. He is recognized for his exceptional speed, having won the Under-16s Fijian sprint championship a few years ago.
In his pursuit of a career in the NRL, Manna aimed to follow the path of NRL star Viliame Kikau. Most recently, he showcased his skills in the SG Ball Cup finals alongside teammates Alex Conti and Mitchell Woods, though they faced defeat against the Canberra Raiders in the second week of the finals.
