In Round 12 of the Senior Pathways, it was a challenging weekend for the Bulldogs as both their NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Cup teams faced defeat in New Zealand.

The Ron Massey Cup side and the Kaiviti Silktails also struggled during their matches.

The Bulldogs initially surged ahead, scoring twice and establishing a 10-0 lead within the first six minutes, with former Warriors hooker Taniela Otukolo being the first to score.

However, the Warriors quickly retaliated, scoring four unanswered tries, all converted by Taine Tuaupiki, to take a commanding 24-10 lead at halftime.

The second half mirrored the Bulldogs' strong start, as they quickly scored three tries within ten minutes, tying the game at 24-24 with 30 minutes remaining.

One of these tries came from former Warriors prop Zyon Maiu'u.

Despite the Bulldogs' resurgence, the Warriors regained their composure and scored three more tries, including a spectacular length-of-the-field effort capped off by Luke Hanson just two minutes before the end.

In the Ron Massey Cup outing, after conceding the initial two tries, the Silktails found their rhythm with a second-row touchdown in the 22nd minute, followed by a quick equalizing try from center Asalusi Nagicu.

However, they were ultimately unable to secure a win, mirroring the struggles of their Bulldog counterparts in a tough outing overall in NZ.
