Canterbury Bulldogs coach Cameron Ciraldo has suggested that significant alterations may be necessary for the team after their third straight defeat, this time to the North Queensland Cowboys.
While Ciraldo expressed satisfaction with how his players performed in the first 60 minutes of the game, he had a different perspective on the last 20 minutes.
Entering the final 30 minutes with the score tied, the Bulldogs quickly allowed three tries to Scott Drinkwater, Jake Clifford, and Braidon Burns, sealing their loss.
"For 60 minutes that looked like the style of game. It wasn't perfect but it was 12-all with 20 minutes left and we're probably exactly where we wanted to be, where we prided ourselves on over the last couple of years," Ciraldo shared.
He added, "There will be a lot of positives that we'll look at from there but very disappointing the way we finished to let in three really soft tries."
