The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have announced that four players will leave Belmore following the conclusion of the 2026 season.
Josh Curran, Lipoi Hopoi, Jonathan Su'a, and Bronson Xerri are set to pursue new opportunities, while seven players remain unsigned for 2027.
Curran is set to join the West Coast, becoming part of the inaugural Perth Bears team after 61 appearances in blue and white since his debut in 2024.
His first season showcased his aggressive play and tireless work ethic in defence, leading the Bulldogs to the finals.
Xerri will move to the Melbourne Storm on a three-year deal and made his comeback in 2024 after a four-year suspension for a banned substance.
In 2026, he experienced ups and downs in the starting lineup but participated in the club's landmark match in Las Vegas during Round 1.
Local junior Hopoi will also leave the Bulldogs, having shown promise as a future enforcer in his 17 top-grade matches.
Sources indicate Hopoi will relocate to Canberra to join Rick Stuart's Raiders, aiming to become a leading figure as the club loses Morgan Smithies and Corey Horsburgh to the Bears.
In his final match this season, Hopoi reportedly sustained an ACL injury, which poses a significant hurdle for his growth as a consistent NRL player.
Su'a is set to join Curran at the Bears after the official confirmation of his long-term deal under Mal Meninga released on Wednesday.
This leaves several players without contracts for 2027 still uncertain.
