In a pulsating Friday night clash between the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and the Sydney Roosters, fans were treated to a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

The Bulldogs came out of the gates firing on all cylinders, racing to a commanding 26-0 lead early in the game.

With the Roosters missing key players due to injuries, including the likes of Dom Young, Sam Walker, and James Tedesco, the Bulldogs seemed to have the game in the bag.

However, as they say in the world of sport, it's not over till the final whistle blows.

The Roosters staged a remarkable comeback in the second half, giving the Bulldogs a real "scare of their lives." It was a tale of two halves, with the Bulldogs showcasing their best footy in the first 30 minutes, only to falter in the final 40.

Bulldogs coach Cameron Ciraldo summed it up perfectly when he said, "We had the best footy in the first half, but the worst in the second." It was a game filled with twists and turns, a true test of character for both teams.

As they say in the Rugby League world, it's all about consistency, and the Bulldogs will be looking to iron out their second-half woes as they aim for more points in the 2024 season.
