Huddle for Mental Health: Bulldogs and Young Academics Unite to Help Build Resilient Minds

In a heartwarming initiative, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs collaborated with Young Academics Early Learning Centre to promote emotional wellbeing and mental resilience in children.

The event, hosted at Young Academics in Harris Park, featured Bulldogs players Blake Wilson and Bailey Hayward, who shifted their focus from the sports field to the classroom.

The main takeaway was clear: "it's okay to feel big emotions and talk about them." Throughout the day, children participated in various engaging activities aimed at enhancing their understanding of mental health.

These included guided breathing exercises, mindfulness practices, storytelling sessions, and group Q&A interactions.

This collaboration exemplified a strong sense of community, emphasizing the importance of addressing mental health from an early age.
